Local Groups

Home Accommodation Network’s local groups are in charge of organizing the homestays. The accommodation offers and requests for accommodation take place in the local groups.

A local group refers to a peer community where the homestays can be organized in a particular area: it is a way to share local knowledge, encounter peers, and look for new hosts if there are requests to find a stay in a specific area. In many local groups, there are already people who have been hosts or lived in a homestay before, making sharing and exchanging experiences possible.

If you are looking for a homestay or are looking to host (or be involved in the network in other ways), we recommend you join a local group near you or a group that fits your location preferences. Below you will find a list of our existing local groups.

If there is no local group in your area, we recommend joining a group closest to you or your preferred place of accommodation. If there is an area in need of a new group, we ask you to be in touch with Eva, the Community Specialist in our supporting association. Eva will instruct you in founding a new group.
